“You’re hired. Let’s do that,” Joti said.
When it came to planning Joti and Field’s wedding, the sky was the limit. Right off the bat, the couple were adamant about making their big day less about them and more focused on their guests. Throwing a destination wedding in Las Vegas was an easy decision, allowing them to turn their wedding into a mini vacation complete with food, shopping, and entertainment.
For over a year, their wedding planner Andrea and her team set out to create a whimsical wedding at the Four Seasons. The result included larger-than-life birdcages, white-and-gold velvet chairs, swimming mermaids, a stunning geode wedding cake that floated in the pool, and more.
On the day of the wedding, the bride and groom got ready in separate rooms at The Cosmopolitan. Though a little rain scared Joti at first, the skies cleared just in time. As guests started to arrive, they were greeted with Molecular Cocktails (edible alcohol delights) by The Grand Bevy. The couple wanted to host cocktail hour before their wedding ceremony to make sure everyone felt welcomed and loved. And once they were ready, Joti and Field made their way to the fountains and exchanged vows under a chandelier dripping with flowers.
Then, it was time to party. Guests were led around the pool through a path lined with trees and seated for dinner. A mix of traditional Indian fare and Western foods were offered while toasts were made throughout the evening. When it was finally time to reveal the cake, two mermaids presented it to the newlyweds at the edge of the pool. Everyone danced until 1 in the morning and ended the festivities back in their suites for late-night pizza. Talk about an epic wedding!
